How we collect, use, protect, and manage your personal information
Effective Date: April 18, 2026 · Last Updated: April 18, 2026
· Governed by Indian Law
Plain Language Summary: We collect your name, contact details, Aadhaar card, and photo when you
apply for a job with us. This information is used strictly to verify your identity and ensure the safety of our
clients. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone except law enforcement if required by law.
1. Introduction
Sajjalashree Home Nursing Services ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your
privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you
use our website sajjalashreehomenursingservices.com or submit any forms on it.
This policy applies to:
- Job/career applicants submitting the employment application form
- Clients and families making general enquiries
- Visitors requesting product information or callback
By using our website and submitting your information, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree,
please do not submit your personal details.
3. Why We Collect Your Information
We collect your information only for legitimate business purposes:
- Career Applications: To assess your suitability for nursing roles, verify your
qualifications, and contact you about your application status
- General Enquiries: To respond to your questions about our home nursing services
- Product Enquiries: To provide information about nursing equipment and products
- Callback Requests: To call you back at your preferred time to discuss our services
- Identity Verification: To ensure all staff deployed to client homes are verified, genuine
individuals — protecting both clients and employees
4. Aadhaar Card & Photo — Special Policy
Why we collect Aadhaar and photos: Our nurses and caregivers work inside clients' private
homes. To protect our clients' safety and security, we require identity verification documents from all
applicants. In the unfortunate event that any employee engages in theft, misconduct, or harm at a client's home,
this information helps us cooperate with law enforcement to identify and locate the person.
We handle Aadhaar data with the highest level of care:
- Aadhaar images are stored securely on Cloudinary (encrypted cloud storage) — not on our public website
server
- Aadhaar data and passport photo are accessible only to verified admin users of our organisation and are
shared with clients who engage our caregiving services — solely to verify the identity of the caregiver
assigned to their home, for their safety and the caregiver's protection. They are never shared beyond this
purpose.
- We do not use Aadhaar for any authentication, biometric verification, or financial
transactions
- We do not share Aadhaar data with any third party except law enforcement with a valid legal
order
- We comply with the Aadhaar Act, 2016 and UIDAI guidelines regarding use of Aadhaar
- We do not store the full 12-digit Aadhaar number in our database — only the document image
for visual verification
By submitting your Aadhaar card image, you provide explicit, informed consent for us to store and use it for
identity verification purposes as described above.
5. How We Store Your Data
- Text data (name, email, phone, experience) — stored in a secure MySQL database on
Hostinger's servers located in data centres compliant with international security standards
- File uploads (Aadhaar, photo, certificate) — stored on Cloudinary, a secure cloud storage
platform with AES-256 encryption
- Admin access — protected by bcrypt-hashed passwords and JWT authentication tokens. No plain
text passwords stored anywhere
- Data transmission — all data between your browser and our server is encrypted using
HTTPS/TLS (SSL certificate installed)
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent, trade, or share your personal information
with advertisers or marketing companies.
We share data only in these limited situations:
- Law enforcement: If we receive a valid legal order, court order, or police request, we may
share relevant data with authorities to assist in an investigation — particularly in cases of theft, fraud, or
harm to clients
- Service providers: Cloudinary (file storage) and Hostinger (web hosting) have access to
data as part of their technical service only — governed by their own privacy policies
- Internal staff & clients: Authorised admin users of Sajjalashree Home Nursing Services can
access submitted data. Your Aadhaar card image and passport photo may be shared with clients who engage our
caregiving services, solely for identity verification of the caregiver entering their home — never for any
other purpose.
7. Your Rights
Under Indian data protection principles and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), you have
the following rights:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal retention
obligations)
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent at any time — however, this may affect
your job application
- Right to Grievance: File a complaint with our grievance officer (contact details below)
To exercise any right, email us at sajjalashreehomenursingservices@gmail.com with subject line
"Data Rights Request". We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security Measures
We implement multiple layers of security to protect your data:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Rate limiting — maximum 100 requests per 15 minutes per IP address to prevent attacks
- JWT-based admin authentication with token expiry
- bcrypt password hashing (no plain text passwords stored)
- Access to sensitive files (Aadhaar, photos) only through authenticated admin routes
- Sensitive backend configuration files are never exposed publicly
Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your sensitive
information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
